We've reached 100 followers!

And passed it, no less!

A HUGE thank you to everyone following us.

You're all amazing! I think this calls for a celebration! And of course, by celebration, we really mean CONTEST.

But first, a few questions. Because we can't decide on what books to give away.

1) Hardcovers or paperbacks? It would be 1 hardcover vs. 2 paperbacks.
2) Interesting newly books or slightly older but surely amazing books?
3) Are there any particular books you would love to own?
4) What do you all think of us pre-ordering for the winner? Say, Catching Fire and we also throw in The Hunger Games. Something like that.

So while not everyone likes answering questions, we would really appreciate it! And, to make it worth your while, you'll get extra entries in that upcoming contest! (Idea stolen from Kate at The Neverending Shelf. :P Hope you don't mind Kate!) Not too sure how many extra entries quite yet, but we'll make sure it's enough that you'll be glad to have answered the questions!

Thank you all!

  2. Of course I do not mind! Congrats on 100 followers. You guys deserve it.

    1. Personally, I like paperbacks.

    2. I would like slightly older books that maybe I have been looking at, but have not bought yet. Maybe some of your favorites would be a good idea.

    3) There are so many. I hate being put on the spot like this. (lol) I am sure anything you pick I would love to win!

    4) I think that would be a great idea. I am sure there are plenty of series that you could do that for.

  3. Congrats on over 100 followers now!

    1. I prefer hard cover books, but I understand that paperbacks are easier/cheaper to ship, and you can give more away.

    2. I don't mind new or old books. A book doesn't have to be new or not released yet to be amazing! :)

    3. A book I would like to own is...I actually have no idea. lol That's hard.

    4. Pre-ordering books can be expensive! But if you guys can fit the bill, that would surely bring more readers and more entries!

Have fun putting together this contest and celebrating!

  8. I don't really care whether or not it's paperback or hardcover, but the hardcovers are heavier and therefore more expensive to ship. So from a bloggers perspective I'd say paperbacks are better. I love reading new books (plus, those are the more expensive ones), so if a new book is released in paperback then I would definitely enter the contest.

Pre-order contests are pretty cool, especially when the site allows the winner to pick which book they want pre-ordered.

    Hope that helps!

  14. Congrats ladies! 100+ followers - how exciting.

    To answer your questions:

    1) Hardcovers or paperbacks? I myself prefer paperbacks.
    2) Interesting newly books or slightly older but surely amazing books? Brand spanking new books are nice, but I think slightly older books are a prize themselves =)
    3) Are there any particular books you would love to own? Yes, and I'd be glad to list them all but that would take forever. I think any book of your choice would suffice though
    4) What do you all think of us pre-ordering for the winner? Say, Catching Fire and we also throw in The Hunger Games. Something like that. Great idea, and if it is easier and cheaper for you, then I said go for it!

    Hope this helps =)

    2) Newer books.
    3) So many, but I don't want to waste your time listing them!
    4) That'd be pretty cool. I always wanted to read The Hinger Games but never got around to it.

  17. Congrats on having so many followers! I came across your blog looking at awards and I love it! Your rating system is really cute.

    1) I think that hardcovers are good when it is a book that would have your 6 shelf rating. That way it is something that you want to hold onto forever. Example: "Eyes Like Stars" in HC.

    2) For your first contest I'd say a new book is a good idea, although if you plan on having contests frequently then you might want to rotate between new and old releases.

    3) Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater

    4) That sounds like a fantastic contest to me!

  18. Thanks for commenting. Any yes I would post all the reviews of the book from everyone on my blog. Then tally up how you would rate it out of 5, and then rate it. Cause one person can't really rate a book. Everyone has their own preferences and likes. :) x.

    2) Good books or new books.
    3) The Hunger Games, Wake, City of Bones/Ashes, ARCs.
    4) Sounds good to me.

    I know, I'm way to picky. :)
